At Tiri is one of the largest Lebanese villages in the villages of Bint Jbeil District in Nabatieh Governorate. The town is 115 km from Beirut and rises 750 m meters from the sea. al-Tairi was famous for tobacco and grain cultivation, along with seasonal agriculture and livestock farming. Taire I (referred to as Et Taireh I) is located 3.5 km north of Ain Ebel to the west of the village. Taire II (referred to as Et Taireh II and Bassatine el Khawabi) It is located 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) northeast of the village on a small track leading to Kounine that crosses the road between Bent Jbeil and Tibnine. Many old and well-cut stones and broken fragments of a pillar were observed at this village, showing probably early Christian occupation. Native families of the village include the following: Shaito, Fakih, 'Atwi, Kaharsa, Hawrani, Naser, 'Ousaili and others.
