Chakra rises 640 m above sea level it is 13 km away from BintJbeil, and 120 from Beirut. other name of the village is Shakra w Doubeih, reason of castle of Doubeih , on a hill with impressive, sweeping vistas, the strong arches of the Doubeih Fortress continue to defy the ravages of time.
